Local metalcore act Out Last dropped a 30 second snippet from a song that the group scrapped with features a surprising guest.
Former Chelsea Grin vocalist Alex Koehler makes an appearance on the track, which can be heard here. The band didn’t go into further details as to why the song was scrapped. The only thing the band said was that “This song ultimately got scrapped.” Out Last’s vocalist Josh Valenti later confirmed on the post that it was Koehler on the track after a fan guessed correctly.
No word if the song is a scrapped track from their upcoming untitled EP coming out in January with Race Street Music Group.
Koehler was the vocalist of Chelsea Grin since the band’s formation in 2007 before leaving in 2018, prior to their run on the final Vans Warped Tour. Ex-Lorna Shore vocalist Tom Barber took his spot as CG’s new vocalist.
