Motionless In White Take On The Killers With Their Cover Of “Somebody Told Me”

Ever wanted to hear Motionless In White cover The Killers?

Scranton, Pa., metalcore act Motionless In White have unleashed their majestic cover of the classic Killers hit “Somebody Told Me”. The cover comes shortly after releasing their EP Another Life / Eternally Yours: Motion Picture Collection back in August on Roadrunner Records (Creeper, In This Moment, Theory Of A Deadman).

Frontman Chris ‘Motionless’ Cerulli said in a statement, “During quarantine we wanted to continue to see what new projects we could push ourselves to create. We’ve always wanted to take a shot at covering an iconic alternative song, and ‘Somebody Told Me’ has always been one of those tracks that oozes pure energy, and has crazy good hooks that we felt we could transform into a great rock version. We are very happy to present this cover as one of the projects birthed out of the COVID downtime and hope it’s fun for all fans to check out and tap their feet to.”

The original version of “Somebody Told Me” appeared on The Killers’s beloved debut album Hot Fuss released in 2004 on Island Records (Fall Out Boy, Keane, Sea Girls). Listen to the original below.

This isn’t the first time MIW have covered someone. In the past they’ve tackled Rammstein, Danzig, Linkin Park, Metallica, and Rob Zombie.
