A Day To Remember, CHVRCHES, Royal Blood, More To Play Reading And Leeds

Back in November, Reading and Leeds posted their first group of acts that are performing at this year’s festivals. Fast forward two months later and we finally got more. And by more, I mean 50+.

The festivals posted over 50 artists that are to perform along with previously announced bands and artists Foo Fighters, Bastille, The 1975, Bowling For Soup, Post Malone, and Billie Eilish. Floridian easycore superstars A Day To Remember, English rock duo Royal Blood, and Scottish synth-pop trio CHVRCHES, are scheduled to appear. Also announced were Joji, Twin Atlantic, You Me At Six, Charli XCX, The Night Café, The Hunna, Mura Masa, AJ Tracey, Against The Current, Gunna, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Lil Uzi Vert, The Amazons, The Story So Far, and Enter Shikari, who are playing four sets across the whole weekend.  Check out the current roster below.

Reading and Leeds takes place during the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 23 to 25. Tickets can be found on the festivals’ website.

The 1975, Foo Fighters, Post Malone, More To Play Reading And Leeds 2019

Get ready, England.

Reading and Leeds Festivals have announced their headliners earlier today along with other guests.

Rock group Foo Fighters, rapper Post Malone, British alt darlings The 1975, and Ohioan alternative hip-hop duo Twenty One Pilots will headline the festivals. Others scheduled to perform include Juice WRLD, Pale Waves, Camelphat, Hayley Kiyoko, Bowling For Soup, Blossoms, Billie Ellish, Stefflon Dion, PVRIS, Crucast, G Flip, Bastille, The Distillers, Not3s, Sundara Karma, Denis Sulta, The Amazons, and YUNGBLUD. 

Reading has been going on since 1961 and started under the name of the National Jazz And Blues Festival. Leeds began in 1999. Artists who’ve played the festivals in the past include The Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Eminem, Panic! At The Disco, Blink-182, Iron Maiden, and Björk.
