Deftones Are Making Their Own Music Festival

You read that right.

Legendary metal band Deftones announced that they’ll be creating their own music festival called Dia de los Deftones. The band posted on their social medias a photo of the festival’s poster along with this:

“We are so excited, and proud to announce the first annual Dia de los Deftones. For years, we’ve played on festivals with such amazing and diverse line-ups, and that was the goal when we put together our line-up. We want this event to be a celebration; with the incredible artists we’ve assembled, and the experiences we’re curating for the site, it’s going to be a wonderful day and night for all who join us in San Diego.”

The festival will take place at Petco Park’s Park at the Park in San Diego, Calif., on Saturday, November 3. Presale tickets will be available tomorrow via Ticketmaster while general public tickets go on sale Friday.

Joining Deftones at this festival will be numerous artists from multiple genres. Rapper Future, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, singer/rapper Doja Cat, Boston metalcore act Vein, Australian death-pop duo VOWWS, post-punk legends Rocket From The Crypt, and horrorcore duo Ho99o9 will be playing at the festival.
