Fearless Records Celebrate 25th Anniversary With A Series of Seven-Inch Records

Happy birthday Fearless Records.

The California based label are celebrating their 25th anniversary in a big way with a series of 7″ records. In an article posted by Alternative Press, Fearless President and Chief Creative Officer Jenny Reader said, “2019 is going to be wild. Not only is it shaping up to be our biggest release year yet, but it’s also Fearless’ 25th anniversary as a label. We are so incredibly excited to start unveiling all the insane things we will be doing to celebrate the label’s legacy, our incredible artists and fans.”

The seven-inch series will be honoring both past and present artists on the label. On their website, the label writes that “Each 7″ will feature two tracks from a current or alumni Fearless artist, include artwork curated by the band and be limited to only 500 copies.” The records will be released on the 25th of each month.

Plain White T’s will start off the series with Side A featuring their smash hit “Hey There Delilah” and Side B featuring “Light Up The Room”, a song from their current album Parallel Universe.

Reader said that Plain White T’s had to start the series off on the right foot. “Few bands can claim a four-times platinum, Grammy-nominated release that transcended into the fabric of pop culture. So much respect to the band and to [Fearless Founder and Chairman Emeritus] Bob [Becker] for believing in the song to allow it so much success and love. It is still magic each time they play it, and I don’t think that will ever fade.”

No word yet on what the other 11 records will have. It’s only guesses now.

Fearless started back in 1994 and began releasing music for bands like The Aquabats!, Bigwig, and Dynamite Boy in the ’90s. Since then, they have released records from people like Eve 6, Forever The Sickest Kids, Breathe Carolina, Mayday Parade, Upon This Dawning, The Killing Moon, Portugal. The Man, Alesana, Motionless In White, and The Maine. Their current roster includes Starset, August Burns Red, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Grayscale, Set It Off, The Word Alive, Underoath, The Plot In You, Real Friends, and Pierce The Veil.

The label also launched a Spotify playlist featuring some of the best songs they’ve released in the past 25 years. Bands like Movements, Wage War, Every Avenue, Let’s Get It, So They Say, My Enemies & I, A Static Lullaby, Gatsbys American Dream, I Prevail, and Amely, appear.
