Mundy’s Bay Announce Debut Album “Lonesome Valley”

Montréal shoegaze quartet Mundy’s Bay are ready to give you some new tunes.

The band announced earlier today that their debut album Lonesome Valley will be dropping on March 13 via Pure Noise Records (Elder Brother, LURK, Stick To Your Guns.) It is a follow-up to their three-song EP Control Room, which is really good.

They shared the news alongside a music video for the album’s first single “Goodbye,” airing right now on FLOOD Magazine. The song sounds like “an enticing cut of kinetic dream pop that perfectly captures the band’s ability to blend hazy atmospherics with overt hooks,” as stated in a press release.

“[It’s] a song about someone leaving this world but becoming present in ways not physical,” vocalist Esther Mulders told the magazine.

Pre-orders are available now at MerchNow.
