Ultra Q, fka Mt. Eddy, have signed with DCD2 Records (Gym Class Heroes, nothing,nowhere., Panic! At The Disco), the label owned by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.
The band, label, and Wentz himself, have all made announcements about the signing. Ultra Q said about the exciting news, “very excited and grateful for spencer and pete over the past few months. theyve shown us tons of love/support and we are so lucky to have them in our corner.” They also dropped a new EP called We’re Starting To Get Along yesterday.
They have been working closely with Wentz and ex-Panic! At The Disco member Spencer Smith, who now works with the label as of last year.
Originally known as Mt. Eddy, the band announced a name change back in April. The name Ultra Q comes from the Japanese tokusatsu science fiction/kaiju TV series of the same name.
The band are currently touring with Bad Suns and Liily. The first date of the tour was today in Lawrence, Kan.. Check out the tour dates below.
