Neck Deep Unveil New Song “She’s A God”

Welsh pop-punkers Neck Deep are back with a new track.

After teasing their fans with something yesterday, we now know what it is exactly. The song called “She’s A God” is their first new bit of material since 2017’s The Peace And The Panic, released on Hopless Records (Emarosa, Tiny Moving Parts, With Confidence). Listen to the track here.

“‘She’s A God’ is a song that is, pretty much, about worshipping your other half, but for the little things like waking up in the morning and seeing them get ready for the day,” vocalist Ben Barlow said. “Those moments where you’re just in awe of how glorious a person can be. It’s pretty simple, no deeper meaning here, just a love song comparing a relationship to theology.”

The track was produced by Matt Squire (Breathe Carolina, Panic! At The Disco, Stacked Like Pancakes) and mixed by Seb Barlow (As It Is, Sworn In, WSTR).

Neck Deep are currently on the road with Blink-182 and Lil Wayne. Check out the tour dates below.

Underoath, August Burns Red, ’68, More To Appear At iMatter Festival

Thursday was the official day that the iMatter Festival revealed their full lineup, and this year it’s stacked beyond belief.

Underoath, August Burns Red, Microwave, ’68, and Impending Doom will be performing at the Chemung County Fair Grounds in Horseheads, N.Y., on Sunday, August 12. Other bands scheduled to perform include Drug Church, Sworn In (performing Start/End in it’s entirety), Such Gold, Can’t Swim, Life Barrier, and many more.

The festival started in 2010 by the iMatter Foundation to “counter suicide, self-harm and self-doubt by promoting unearthed value, unveiled purpose and defiant hope to this generation,” according to their website.  Like previous years, the festival is free (yes, free)  but you can purchase UP tickets which will allow you to hang with Underoath or August Burns Red. Other bands who’ve played the festival in the past include Silverstein, We Came As Romans, Hawthorne Heights, For Today, The Color Morale, Memphis May Fire, Stick To Your Guns, and Veil Of Maya.

Check out the poster below for more information and the full lineup.
