Sugarcult To Release 7″ For Fearless Records’s 25th Anniversary

Fearless hits us once again with a classic artist from the early 2000s.

Pop-punkers Sugarcult are dropping a seven-inch for the label’s 25th anniversary. The tracks featured on the 7″ are “Bouncing Off The Walls,” a classic from their 2001 album Start Static, and an acoustic version of their beloved track “Memory.”

“Bouncing Off The Walls” was featured in the film National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and was on the movie’s soundtrack alongside songs by Sum 41, American Hi-Fi, Jimmy Eat World, Michelle Branch, and Sia. Ryan Reynolds (DeadpoolFireflies In The GardenPokémon Detective Pikachu,) and Tara Reid (American Pie, Josie And The PussycatsSharknado,) who star in the film, appeared in the song’s music video.

“Memory” was from their fourth studio album Palm Trees And Powerlines and is their signature song. The acoustic version originally appeared on Punk Goes Acoustic back in 2003. That album featured appearances from Rise Against, The Starting Line, Yellowcard, Piebald and Strung Out.

You can purchase the pink seven-inch record here. At the time of this article, only 415 are still available to purchase.

This seven-inch is the fifth one in Fearless Records’s 25th Anniversary series. The series that Fearless Records (Eat Your Heart Out, Locket, The Word Alive) created back in January has since released special records by Plain White T’s, Pierce The Veil, Mayday Parade, and The Maine.
