Have Mercy Announce Final Tour, Breakup

Baltimore alt-rock outfit Have Mercy are calling it a day.

The band fronted by Brian Swindle broke the news earlier today in a sad post. Swindle wrote, “This is it. I’m almost in tears writing this but it’s time. I never thought I’d see the day but it’s time to say goodbye. It’s been almost 10 years. We’ve seen life and we’ve seen death. We’ve felt on top of the world and we’ve been in the gutter.”

In their farewell post, Have Mercy also announced that they will be touring one last time in early 2020. The band will be touring with Selfish Things, Fredo Disco, and Young Culture. Check out the dates below.

Have Mercy formed in 2011 and released four albums in total, one with Topshelf Records (Bellows, mouse on the keys, Queen Of Jeans) and the rest with Hopeless Records (Emarosa, Lil Xtra, Taking Back Sunday.) Their last record The Love Life came out back in August. They’ve toured with Counterparts, Boston Manor, Senses Fail, Motion City Soundtrack and This Wild Life. The group played the Vans Warped Tour in 2015 on the Hard Rock Kevin Says stage with Major League, Trophy Eyes, and Palisades.
