Forever The Sickest Kids Are Working On Something

Forever The Sickest Kids Are Working On Something

Finally some good news for 2020.

Beloved Texan neon pop group Forever The Sickest Kids revealed to their fans on Thursday that new music might be coming out soon. This marks the first time in seven years that the band put out any new material, their latest being 2013’s J.A.C.K., their only album with Fearless Records (The Almost, NOT A TOY, Volumes).

The news broke out after Alternative Press wrote an article about ten neon pop bands that need to reunite, which featured bands like Artist Vs Poet, The Friday Night Boys, and Cobra Starship. After the feature was published, both the band and frontman Jonathan Cook took to social media to break the good news. All the band said was, “watch out very soon!” On his account, Cook wrote, “We may not quite look like this anymore, and the odds are pretty bad that We ever will, but the odds are darn good that WE, Forever The Sickest Kids will be back active!”

To add some fuel to the fire, FTSK posted studio images back in April and May, jokingly asking fans if they wanted to hear Owl City, Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber, Tom DeLonge of Angels & Airwaves, Lil Wayne, or Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz on a song.

After dropping J.A.C.K., FTSK embarked that summer on the Vans Warped Tour, playing on the Tilly’s stage with The Summer Set, Goldfinger, and New Years Day, and the Kia Forte stage with Bring Me The Horizon, Sleeping With Sirens, and Chiodos. They went on hiatus for a few years, reuniting briefly in 2017 to play So What?! Music Festival with Cute Is What We Aim For, Ghostemane, and Mayday Parade and some dates on the 2019 Sad Summer Festival with State Champs, The Wonder Years, and Just Friends.

Stay tuned, Underdogs.

Go Radio Are Back!

Go Radio Are Back!

It’s finally happening!

Pop-rock group Go Radio have confirmed today that they’re back together.

After teasing a reunion back in July, the Floridian quartet made up of bassist Matt Poulos, guitarist Alex Reed, drummer Steven Kopacz, and ex-Mayday Parade vocalist/guitarist Jason Lancaster, are making music again. In a post made on social media, the band wrote:

“It’s been six years. In August of 2013 we played our final show in Houston, Texas. The four of us wouldn’t all be in the same place again until July of this year.

Six years is a long time. We each had a long way to go to get to this point, but time has a way of putting things into perspective. For each of us, Go Radio continues to be among our biggest sources of pride. Since 2007, we have loved our Go Radio family, the music we have made, and – whether we acknowledged it or not – each other.

It is with great pleasure that we announce we’ve decided to make music again. After considerable conversation and diligent discussion, we started sharing ideas and working on songs. We are thrilled that our passion never subsided.

We want to thank our Go Radio family for the never-ending support, never leaving our side and never letting our music leave yours.
Here’s to the future.

GO RADIO”

Go Radio formed in 2007 shortly before Lancaster left Mayday Parade. The band signed with Fearless Records (The Almost, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Starset) in 2010 and released two albums and an EP with the label. The band have toured with Sparks The Rescue, Tonight Alive, Yellowcard, Paradise Fears, and Lancaster’s old band, Mayday Parade. They appeared on the Vans Warped Tour twice, playing in 2011 on the Nintendo 3DS stage with The Dangerous Summer, Hellogoodbye, and Relient K, and 2013 on the Tilly’s stage with Forever The Sickest Kids, New Years Day, and Hawthorne Heights.
