Liam Gallagher And Rage Against The Machine To Headline Reading And Leeds 2020

It’s happening!

Reading And Leeds Festival announced that not only are they posting the full first wave of acts for this year’s festival tomorrow, but that Rage Against The Machine will headline Leeds on August 28 and Reading on August 30.

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher announced that he would be headlining all the way back in November on Twitter, annoying the festival. “Nice one @liamgallagher … kept that quiet,” they tweeted back to the musician.

The first announcements will appear tomorrow, so come back here to see who’s on the bill so far. General tickets go on sale Thursday, February 13, at Ticketmaster.

Oh, and people apparently don’t know who RATM are. Just check the comments.

Reading And Leeds started back in 1955 and has featured groups like My Chemical Romance, The Who, Coldplay, Judas Priest, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, As It Is, Every Time I Die, Franz Ferdinand, and I Don’t Know How But They Found Me.

Homesafe To Play The Wonder Years’ Third (Occasionally) Annual Halloween Extravaganza Shows

Now we know who’s playing Weezer.

Illinois pop-punk quartet Homesafe are the second band to appear during The Wonder Years’ Third (Occasionally) Annual Halloween Extravaganza shows. Instead of playing their own songs, the group will play songs by Weezer.

The Wonder Years announced this earlier yesterday, as well as the fact that most of the shows on the tour are nearly sold out. Last month, TWY unveiled that British pop-punk group Trash Boat would be playing Oasis songs. TWY themselves will be covering Limp Bizkit. No word yet on who’s covering Carly Rae Jepsen.

Homesafe dropped their latest album One last year on Pure Noise Records (Drug Church, LURK, Year Of The Knife). They released two new songs back in June.

Trash Boat To Play The Wonder Years’ Third (Occasionally) Annual Halloween Extravaganza Shows

We know the identity of one of the three mystery bands.

British pop-punkers Trash Boat will be joining alongside The Wonder Years for a few days on their run of Halloween shows.

These shows will have the bands performing cover sets. So far from what the poster says, The Wonder Years will be playing Limp Bizkit songs and the former Prenatt’s Picks band will be doing Oasis songs. The poster also shows that some band will cover Weezer and another group will cover Carly Rae Jepsen.
