Before you ask, yeah, it’s delayed. What did you expect from the Year of Corona?
While we won’t be having a Riot Fest this year, the festival did announce that it will be returning stronger next year with a killer lineup. And we already got the first wave of bands.
Previously announced 2020 headliner My Chemical Romance will be headlining next year’s event alongside The Smashing Pumpkins, Run The Jewels, and Pixies. Others scheduled for 2021 include Living Colour, Sublime With Rome, Bayside, The All-American Rejects, Fucked Up, Thursday, L7, Fishbone, Saves The Day, and Meet Me @ The Altar. Check out the current lineup below.
If you have a ticket for Riot Fest 2020, it will be honored next year. If you need a refund, do so via Tixel by July 16, 2020. Didn’t get a ticket yet when 2020 wasn’t cancelled yet? You can buy one here.
Riot Fest 2021 will take place September 17 – 19, 2021, at Douglas Park in Chicago. A special Thursday Preview Party happens on September 16 featuring surprise sets from mystery bands and much more.
