Kaonashi Sign To Equal Vision Records, Drop New Music Video

Emo mathcore group Kaonashi are the newest band added to Equal Vision Records (Greyhaven, Never Loved, Sleep On It), and they’re celebrating with a music video.

The Philly quintet announced the news earlier today, thanking anyone who believed in them on their journey. They also unveiled the video for their song “My 5-Year Plan”, which you can watch here.

Kaonashi formed in 2012 and are named after the character No-Face from the beloved movieĀ Spirited Away. They dropped their latest EPĀ Why Did You Do It?, which is considered a “rollercoaster ride across seven tracks ranging from downright brutal riffs to serene, melodic moments,” last year. The band have shared stages with acts like For The Fallen Dreams, I Set My Friends On Fire, Between The Buried And Me, Stick To Your Guns, and Vanna. They just appeared at This Is Hardcore Fest last Saturday along with Saves The Day, Hoods, and Agnostic Front.

Next month, Kaonashi will be touring with The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and are appearing at iMatter Festival with Beartooth, I See Stars, and Left Behind.
