All Time Low Unveil Their Eighth Album “Wake Up, Sunshine”

Pop-punkers All Time Low a dropping a new album!

The band officially announced earlier today that the name of their eighth album is Wake Up, Sunshine and will come out April 3 via Fueled By Ramen (The Front Bottoms, nothing, nowhere., Yonaka.)

Teasers for the record began last month, starting with a since-deleted video of a panda burning a shirt from their Last Young Renegade era. Clips were soon posted on Twitter showing mysterious symbols. That’s when we finally got a new song from the band called “Some Kind Of Disaster.” A hotline was posted yesterday, which had frontman Alex Gaskarth talking about “sleeping in.”

“We got back to how we started,” Alex told Alternative Press. “It had been a long time since the four of us made a record under one roof. That became a central theme. We’ve been a band for 17 years. Everybody brought something to the table. A lot of what you’re hearing came from those magic moments together.”

Guitarist Jack Barakat also added, “I think we accomplished something special. By putting our four heads together, we were able to make a classic All Time Low album.”

A new song called “Sleeping In” will premier on Scott Mills’ BBC Radio 1 show on Thursday, February 20, at 9 a.m. EST.
