Jetty Bones Signs To Rise Records

Jetty Bones Signs To Rise Records

Whoa.

Singer-songwriter Kelc Galluzzo aka Jetty Bones has signed with Rise Records (Cane Hill, Issues, Memphis May Fire.)

The Ohio based musician broke the news today saying, “Growing up in my local scene, we used to have this saying that the dream was to ‘live in Ohio, start a band, then sign to Rise Records’. Well, 12 years later, I finally get to say that those teenage dreams are a reality: Jetty Bones has officially signed to Rise Records and will be putting out a full length record next year.”

To celebrate her signing, the label released a music video for the track “the part:” which comes from her latest EP , released earlier this year on Take This To Heart Records (Future Teens, McCafferty, Sarah And The Safe Word.)

Her old label even congratulated her on Twitter. “Stoked to have @jettybonesmusic sign to @riserecords . Home of great bands like PUP, Angels and Airwaves, At The Drive In and more,” the Wilbraham, Mass., label said.

She decided to also celebrate her signing with Rise by bringing up a fun memory with Angels And Airwaves’ frontman Tom DeLonge. “Hey @tomdelonge! In 2008 we met and you signed this giant version of your head. Now, we are label mates. That is all,” Galluzzo tweeted.

Jetty Bones formed in the late 2010s, releasing so far two EPs. The act has toured with The Wonder Years, The Early November, Homesafe, Knuckle Puck, and Tiny Moving Parts. Jetty Bones have played festivals such as Sad Summer Fest 2019 in Pittsburgh and Colombus, Ohio (Just Friends, Mom Jeans., State Champs,) New Direction Fest 8 (mewithoutYou, Tigers Jaw, Youth Fountain,) Bled Fest 2018 (Foxing, Norma Jean, shortly,) and New Found Glory’s BreakFest 2019 with Mae, Hawthorne Heights, and Microwave. The band was also a part of Prenatt’s Picks 2018 alongside The Plot In You, Dead Girls Academy, and lovelytheband.

Jetty Bones is currently touring with New Found Glory. Check out the rest of the dates below.

Doll Skin Sign To Hopeless Records, Announce New Album

Doll Skin Sign To Hopeless Records, Announce New Album

It’s about damn time these girls got the attention they deserved.

Phoenix rock quartet Doll Skin are now a part of the Hopeless Records (Between You & Me, Neck Deep, Taking Back Sunday) family. Not only that, but they’re dropping a brand new album called Love Is Dead And We Killed Her, which comes out June 28.

The band started teasing the big news with a Spongebob meme earlier this month, hinting that something was coming on the 23rd. They then turned their profile pic red and said “Tuesday? Tuesday.”

With a new album coming out in two months, Doll Skin decided to tease us with the first single off of Love Is Dead And We Killed Her titled “Mark My Words“. The video for the song is out now on Hopeless’s YouTube channel.

Doll Skin was created back in 2013 and spent a majority of their early years on EMP Label Group (Doyle, Sunflower Dead, Voodoo Terror Tribe), dropping two albums with them. They’ve done shows with Creeper, Dead Kennedys, and Hellyeah, and toured with Otep. The girls have played numerous Warped Tours, even playing last year on the owly.fm stage with Don Broco, Sleep On It, and Broadside. Later this year they’ll be appearing at BreakFest with Mae, Jetty Bones, and The Early November, and touring with New Found Glory this summer and Trash Boat this fall.
