All Time Low Play New Song At Slam Dunk Festival

All Time Low Play New Song At Slam Dunk Festival

We didn’t expect this.

All Time Low, who are taking “a bit of a break” in 2019, headlined this year’s Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds, UK. During their set, the Baltimore quartet debuted a new song called “Getaway Green.” Watch footage of the new track here.

The band are apparently heading into the studio this summer to work on their upcoming  eighth album, according to vocalist Alex Gaskarth . With his project Simple Creatures, which he formed with Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus, taking a break during the summer with Blink touring with Lil Wayne and Neck Deep, Gaskarth said that the season will provide a “nice window” to start working on new material. ATL will start recording their follow-up to 2017’s Last Young Renegade either late 2019 or early 2020.

Also during their show at Slam Dunk, which had the band honoring the 10 year anniversary of Nothing Personal, Waterparks’s Awsten Knight joined the band to sing on “Break Your Little Heart.” Gaskarth in the video called Knight “my son.”

Slam Dunk continues today in Hatfield in Hatfield Park. All Time Low are on the Monster Energy Stage along with New Found Glory, As It Is, and Boston Manor. See who else is playing below.

Slam Dunk Have Posted Their Stage Splits For 2019

Slam Dunk have unveiled their stage splits for this year’s festival.

There are eight stages this year, those being the Monster Energy stage, which is the main stage, the Punk In Drublic stage, the Jägermeister stage, the Impericon stage, the Key Club stage, the Dickies stage , the Marshall stage, and the acoustic stage. As stated by Kerrang!, “thanks to some sterling planning, clashes are being kept to a minimum. The Jägermeister stage will not clash with the Impericon stage and the Dickies stage will not clash with the Marshall stage – that means we can watch Glassjaw and Bullet For My Valentine before the mad dash to the last train.”

All Time Low, who are heading the festival, will headline the Monster Energy stage alongside New Found Glory, Simple Plan, and WSTR, NOFX will lead the Punk In Drublic stage with Less Than Jake, Anti-Flag, and The Interrupters, Bullet For My Valentine will bring on the heaviness as they headline the Jägermeister stage with Atreyu, Silverstein, and The Plot In You, Glassjaw control the Impericon stage with The Bronx, Knocked Loose, and Cancer Bats, The Menzingers will shine on the Dickies stage with The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, and Milk Teeth, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me are the main act on the Key Club stage with Story Untold, grandson, and Kublai Khan, Plain White T’s main the Marshall stage with Real Friends, Seaway, and A Loss For Words, and the acoustic stage has no headliner, featuring Justin Courtney Pierre, Rob Lynch, and Lizzy Farrall.
