Not even COVID-19 can kill Lolla.

On Tuesday, the Chicago based music festival stunned everyone when they revealed that Lollapalooza was still going down, but things are different this time around. Due to the coronavirus running rampant across the country, Lolla 2020 is going to be virtual, taking place Thursday, July 30, to Sunday, August 2, on YouTube. And yes, it’s gonna be free.

The lineup features a wide range of acts, such as The Cure, Porno For Pyros, Jane’s Addiction, Paul McCartney, LL Cool J, IDLES, The Front Bottoms, A$AP Rocky, Tenacious D, and Metallica. “Original live performances” will take place over the four-day event and will include artists like H.E.R., The Neighbourhood, Vic Mensa, Alison Wonderland, and Louis The Child. Check out the full lineup below.

Artists who’ve played the festival in the past include Siouxsie And The Banshees, Pearl Jam, Archers Of Loaf, Beastie Boys, Hum, Devo, The Prodigy, Queens Of The Stone Age, Dashboard Confessional, The Reverend Horton Heat, Jack’s Mannequin, Kanye West, The Gaslight Anthem, Lady Gaga, The Pretty Reckless, At The Drive-In, Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Third Eye Blind, Highly Suspect, CKY, and Ariana Grande.

Our Last Night Cover Baha Men With Help From Baha Men

Our Last Night Cover Baha Men With Help From Baha Men

Oh boy.

Post-hardcore turned cover band Our Last Night unveiled their brand new cover on September 18, and it might be the strangest cover they’ve ever done. The New Hampshire based group dropped their version of Baha Men’s “Who’s Let The Dogs Out?” with (get this) Baha Men. That’s right, OLN did a collaboration with the beloved Junkanoo band from the Bahamas. If you’re brave enough to listen to it, click here. If you’re too scared to listen to it, think of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! featuring Baha Men. Yup, it’s basically an easycore cover. The band also released an exclusive behind the scenes video on their Patreon.

The boys are no strangers to covers. OLN have basically built a career off of it, covering artists like Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Imagine Dragons, Tove Lo, Rae Sremmurd, Selena Gomez (which they did with Craig Owens from Chiodos and badXchannels), Post Malone (which features Chris Fronz from Attila, Tilian Pearson of Dance Gavin Dance, and ex-The Word Alive drummer Luke Holland), Linkin Park (featuring Living In Fiction), and One Direction (featuring Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire).

OLN’s last batch of original material is 2017’s Selective Hearing which the band self-released. The band used to be on Epitaph Records (Architects, La Dispute, Pennywise) but left the label in 2013.

Our Last Night will be touring Europe and Africa later this fall with Hawthorne Heights, Hands Like Houses, and Jule Vera. Check the tour dates below.
