The British rock festival Download unveiled their third wave of acts for 2020 back in late January, and it’s better than ever.

Joining previously announced acts like System Of A Down, Iron Maiden, Daughtry, Of Mice & Men, BABYMETAL, Dying Fetus, PUP, Tiny Moving Parts, and Killswitch Engage, are Funeral For A Friend, The Menzingers, Lacuna Coil, Wage War, Thy Art Is Murder, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Alter Bridge, The Skints, Loathe, and Motionless In White. The second wave of artists for Download Festival 2020 has arrived. Hope you’re sitting down.

Joining alongside previously announced acts like KISS, Iron Maiden, The Offspring, Alestorm, and Daughtry, are bands such as Volbeat, BABYMETAL, Tiny Moving Parts, Dying Fetus, PUP, Chelsea Grin, Lit, Airbourne, Bush, and the return of The Pretty Reckless, who haven’t played a show in two years. Their show will mark the beginning of a new era for the rock band. They also started teasing their upcoming fourth album.

Kentucky’s favorite rock festival is back!

After some rain killed last year’s festival, Louder Than Life is returning with a vengeance in 2019. This year’s lineup is currently stacked, featuring Slipknot, Guns N’ Roses, Disturbed, and Rob Zombie as headliners. Not only that, but the festival will have the first show by Staind since their hiatus in 2014.

Others set to play Louder Than Life include A Day To Remember, GWAR, The Crystal Method, New Years Day, Dropkick Murphys, Knocked Loose, Anti-Flag, Ded, Marilyn Manson, Sum 41, Ho99o9, Fire From The Gods, and many others. More acts are scheduled to come out in the future.

Tickets for the festival are available now. Louder Than Life 2019 takes place Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29 at the Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Ky..

Artists who’ve played the festival in the past include KoЯn, Memphis May Fire, Volbeat, Chiodos, Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry, Hollywood Undead, Starset, Avenged Sevenfold, Cheap Trick, Ghost, Parkway Drive, Five Finger Death Punch, Prophets Of Rage, Thrice, and ’68. 2018’s festival would’ve featured Alice In Chains, Underoath, Hyro The Hero, Islander, Bush, Dance Gavin Dance, Cane Hill, Awake At Last, Nine Inch Nails, Action Bronson, Asking Alexandria, and Glassjaw.

Oh my God it’s happening.

British music magazine Rocksound is celebrating their 250th issue by making another covers album. The album, titled Worship And Tributes: Volume II, features 13 bands covering their favorite songs. It will feature artists like As It Is, Real Friends, Deaf Havana, Waterparks, Stand Atlantic, and Our Last Night, covering artists such as Head Automatica, Bush, Rage Against The Machine, Panic! At The Disco, Bring Me The Horizon, and The All-American Rejects.

You can pre-order the CD with a copy of the 250th issue right now on their website. Orders won’t begin shipping until Friday, March 8.

The original Worship And Tributes album came out in 2015 and had bands like Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, Neck Deep, ROAM, and Stray From The Path, covering artists like Motion City Soundtrack, Weezer, Cypress Hill, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and Nickelback. The album was made to celebrate the magazine’s 200th issue.
