The British rock festival Download unveiled their third wave of acts for 2020 back in late January, and it’s better than ever.

Joining previously announced acts like System Of A Down, Iron Maiden, Daughtry, Of Mice & Men, BABYMETAL, Dying Fetus, PUP, Tiny Moving Parts, and Killswitch Engage, are Funeral For A Friend, The Menzingers, Lacuna Coil, Wage War, Thy Art Is Murder, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Alter Bridge, The Skints, Loathe, and Motionless In White. Check out the current lineup below.

Download Festival 2020 takes place Friday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14, at Donington Park in Castle Donington, UK. Tickets are available now on the festival’s website.

The second annual Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival is looking real good.

After already announcing Metallica as a headliner (who will headline two nights,) the Columbus, Ohio, rock festival have unveiled more artists for a stellar 2020 performance. Joining Metallica on the headlining slot is Slipknot, who will perform on Saturday night. Others playing are Code Orange, Royal Blood, Sublime With Rome, The Pretty Reckless, Flatbrush Zombies, Dance Gavin Dance, Hellyeah, Jinjer, Knocked Loose, and Ghostemane, as well as a mystery band. Tickets are on sale now and can be bought at sonictemplefestival.com. Sonic Temple takes place at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, from Friday, May 15, to Sunday, May 17.

Sonic Temple first took place earlier this year and replaced the annual Rock On The Range, which started back in 2007 in Columbus. Bands and artists like Ghost, Pussy Riot, Hands Like Houses, Action Bronson, Movements, The Black Dahlia Murder, Teenage Wrist, The Glorious Sons, and Basement, performed at the first Sonic Temple back in May of this year.

The Struts Are The Next Band Announced For Canalside Live This Summer

Welp, it’s official now.

British rock quartet The Struts are the second band confirmed to be playing Canalside’s summer concert series Canalside Live. Opening for The Struts are Canadian rock band The Glorious Sons.

The Struts will be joining previously announced act Incubus for Canalside Live. No other bands have been announced yet.

Tickets for the event are available at the Canalside info kiosk, Eventbrite.com or at any of the local Consumer’s Beverages stores. VIP tickets cost $35 and go on sale this Wednesday at 10 a.m.. General admission, which is $5, goes on sale this Friday at the same time. The show takes place Thursday, July 25. Gates open at 5 p.m..

What’s interesting is that this show was previously announced by the band and Rolling Stone months ago, but was finally confirmed today.

Incubus Are First Act Announced For Canalside Summer Shows

Beloved rock troupe Incubus are the first act officially announced to appear at this year’s Canalside Live summer shows.

Canalside made the announcement on their website, saying that the show will take place Tuesday, August 6 at 5 p.m. Tickets will be available by May and can be purchased at any of the 17 WNY Consumers Beverages locations and at Canalside’s Boardwalk. Eventbrite will also have standard and VIP tickets available.

No word on who else will be performing this summer or when they’ll announce more acts. However, The Struts might be playing at Canalside Live during the summer since Rolling Stone revealed back in February that the band will be playing there on July 25 with The Glorious Sons.

Concerts at Canalside first started in 2014, with bands and artists like Vanilla Ice, Theory Of A Deadman, Public Enemy, Spoon, July Talk, and Halestorm, performing. Prior to these shows, Buffalo had another summer concert series that took place at Larkin Square called Thursday At The Square, which ran from 1991 to 2011. Bands who performed at Thursday At The Square include The Mamas & The Papas, The Guess Who, Goo Goo Dolls, Nik And The Nice Guys, 10,000 Maniacs, Three Dog Night, Echo & The Bunnymen, Squeeze, Reverend Horton Heat, Sister Hazel, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Peter Frampton, Reel Big Fish, Gavin DeGraw, Hootie & The Blowfish, Smash Mouth, Dropkick Murphys, Gin Blossoms, Los Lonely Boys, Ozomatli, and Tokyo Police Club.
